Sophia Wallace - Bois & Dykes
I recently discovered Sophia Wallace’s Bios & Dykes photography project… her photographs take my breath away. It refreshes me to see an expression of queerness that explores real, beautiful people - the type of people that I love - raw butchness.

Thank you so much for mentioning Bois and Dykes in your blog. How did you come across Bois and Dykes? It’s really helpful and interesting for me to learn from the ways that people view and experience my work. Any feedback would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks again

Sophia - No problem. I had to give your work a mention considering I was so excited to find it.
I found Bois & Dykes when I google searched a term - “dyke women, bois” or something to that effect. Google then brought up outimpact.com’s article featuring your work.
I’m always searching for artwork featuring realistic depictions of dykes. I’ve fallen hard for my share of bois, but I almost never see them depicted in media!
Best of luck with your project.
